Vom Haus Canin Kennels is a project, not a place. It is an amalgamation of a set of ideals I have long had that stem from my love of both the working dog and the work itself. Ideals that have taken many years to refine and round out as I have fallen deeper in love with the Belgian Malinois and what it can offer us.
I have been involved with IGP for a decade now, both as a helper and a handler. I have met and loved many Malinois during my time in the sport, and have developed a profound understanding of all the moving parts involved in breeding a dog that excels. My love of the sport isn’t about titles or winning, it is about being able to demonstrate the qualities that make these dogs truly great. We are the vessel of their success, a way to showcase their prowess.
Proving a dog before breeding is the most important aspect of breeding. IGP showcases qualities that are incredibly necessary for working dogs to possess - in a clean fashion where good training alone won’t hide faults. Anyone can start a breeding program - dogs are everywhere and breeding is a natural behaviour, it only takes two! But what sets my kennel apart is the time that has gone into researching, assessing, and also experiencing so many different lines and individual dogs. I knew when I started this project, many years ago now, what kind of vision I had for my kennel. I knew that I would only accept the best kind of dog for breeding, and that it would take years to find the right female to start.
Building the right dog for the job, whether it be IGP, service roles, security, or other sports, most importantly requires a solid foundation on which to begin. That foundation is mostly genetic - highlighting the importance of the breeding. The rest of the foundation is development, which also starts at breeding, as puppies begin learning the moment their feet touch the ground. Our responsibility as breeders is to select females that are natural mothers and come from natural mothers, and to make sure that puppies are raised with love and care. I am dedicated to this process and can guarantee that the foundations you purchase from my kennels will be strong and unwavering in every aspect.
As I continue to build on my experience and knowledge, I am excited to see my vision made real. And for those of you that choose to start their next journey with me, I am excited for you to see it too.
Breeding Announcement
Q2 2026 - Upcoming Litter
Vom Haus Canin Kennels - "A" Litter
It is very rare that a domestically owned female proven to work in IGP is being bred. Achieving IGP3 at the age of 3, Lulu has a strong pedigree and her health tests are clear for any breed specific diseases. Hips and elbow x-rays are excellent (0/0 Hips & 0/0 Elbows). Paired with Taybo Van De Berlex-Hoeve to create this litter, we anticipate the offspring to be of the highest quality in terms of both health and temperament.
Sire: Taybo Van De Berlex-Hoeve IGP3 (imp Belgium)
Taybo Van De Berlex-Hoeve is a dog that needs no introduction. He was the winner of CACIT Poland in 2024 and is currently one of the most sought-after stud dogs in Europe. His litters have garnered much-deserved attention on Working-Dog due to his impressive achievements, star-studded pedigree, and excellent temperament.
Taybo is a high drive dog with great speed - just like his grandfather Nero Vom Haus Mecki, who had one of the fastest long flights and achieved great fame worldwide during his competition years. Taybo's mother is none other than Cadha Force Canina, World Champion in 2018 (Italy). Taybo is bred, owned & trained by Bert Aerts of kennel Van De Berlex Hoeve.
UPDATE: Taybo just scored 97/100 points, the highest points in protection at this years FCI World Championships!
Dam: Schutzshep Taco (Lulu) IGP3
Lulu is a large, athletic, powerful and fast female, weighing in at 33kg. She has extremely high food and prey drive, is environmentally stable, and currently competes in IGP at a national level. At the 2025 WDFA IGP Nationals she not only gained her IGP3 under international judge Robbie De Jong, but also placed 4th.
Lulu boasts impressive health scoring on top of an impeccable temperament, with 0/0 Hips & 0/0 Elbows and Spondylosis-negative DNA results.
The notable dogs in her pedigree are: Caspar vom Further Moor, Mecberger Chortoryiski, Fred vom Brunsbeker Land, Forny ze Soutoku Sázavy (Owned by none other than Jany Böhm), Boy Codi-Fin, Antrax Ostraryka (just to name a few).
UPDATE: Lulu is the 2025 Winner of the Capital IGP Cup which was hosted in Wagga Wagga, she was also awarded "Top Dog in Tracking" and "Helpers Choice".
We prioritise homes where our puppies will be working dogs (sport or services) or active pets. We want our dogs to live lives that are emotionally, physically, and mentally fulfilling.
